LAMDA Drama Tuition
LAMDA is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding organisations and over the years has helped candidates of all ages and abilities to develop lifelong skills.
The classes will concentrate on improving confidence, focus, communication, knowledge of texts and acting techniques.
LAMDA exams are available to students aged 5-18 years.

Why LAMDA?

-
It helps to build confidence – children get tuition to develop their skills and work towards a presentation to an unknown examiner.

-
Focus on developing literacy skills – young people work on understanding what they are saying, interpreting the meaning and knowing how to present it effectively.

-
Develops a deeper understanding of characterisation.

-
The exams are accredited and the higher grades in LAMDA are worth UCAS points for university
applications

-
Provides a framework in which individual talent can grow.

-
Young people have fun learning, using their imagination and presenting their chosen pieces, and often present them at school.

For Schools. LAMDA classes can be incorporated into the school day and run as extra curricular classes, similar to music lessons. Alternatively we can also offer a LAMDA club, which can take place before school, after school or at lunchtimes.

We also offer private one to one lessons after school and at weekends, these lessons are currently taking place via Zoom.
